Imagine spending your days being barked at by a drill instructor who cannot figure out how to access email on his computer. There are those who would crack and crumble from their relentless commands and then there is Michael Gallagher, who after smashing a 50 minute bike commute every morning handles each Oregon Military IT call with honed skills of a true competitor, always at the ready to tackle each new challenge.
Michael has been competing since birth listing his greatest defeat as an 11th place finish in the 2005 CX nationals held in Providence. He is a lover of the shit weather, bad conditions and brutal course. An avid chess player he believes that his greatest victory is a “moment that has not yet occurred.” Heed this as warning fellow racers, each and every race has the potential to be his greatest victory and he will leave no finish line uncrossed until the victory is found.
