Josh Liberles

Josh is fully in tune with the muddy wet world we can’t help but flock to each fall. Since he works as the editor of Cyclocross Magazine, it's not surprising that he has a healthy obsession with the sport. Josh is a cyclocross omnivore; he spends his days consuming any and all things ’cross. Working on the magazine leaves Josh with just enough time to hang with is girlfriend, play with his dog, train, eat and sleep. Truly Josh lives and(an) enviable lifestyle.

Why does he love ’cross? One of the reasons is the camaraderie. “It’s not all about the pros – it’s a huge participation sport with a super supportive cast of characters playing out a weekly show for all to see.” This collective spirit comes in handy when Josh releases his self-described bull in a china shop riding technique upon the masses. The use of this idiom is truly touching, a proclamation that all of us, at each and every ’cross race is, to Josh, as precious as a piece of Chinese dishware. When you see Josh be sure to thank him and remember: bring your muleta lest he charge in your direction.
