Where are your wheels made?
All of our wheels are assembled and built by hand in Portland, Oregon.

Is there a weight limit for your wheels?
All of our wheels are built to be used by almost all users, unless otherwise stated in the product specs. With that being said, we can’t say undoubtedly that certain riders may need some consideration given to the wheels they ride, if you are over 250 lbs. please contact us to discuss your needs. By using the materials we do as well as handbuilding each and every wheel we believe that our 24/28-hole wheelsets will meet the majority of riders wheel needs.

Will you build wheels that have less than 24/28 holes?
Yes we do. The 1.2ACR Lite and 1.5T is made for riders of 165 lbs. or less and uses 20/24 lacing pattern. With that said, we still believe that our 24/28 wheel configurations provide the optimal strength to weight ratio for most riders. If you would like to ride wheels with less than 24/28 configuration please talk to us about building a custom wheelset.

Do you have a cross-specific tubular wheelset?
Yes, our 2.3T, 1.9T 1.2ACR and the 98ATR's are all cross-ready wheelsets. They've been battle tested for both road and cross.

What are some of the custom hub options?
The Corsa Concepts C3 hub is a high performance lightweight hub, but we realize that some users may have other needs, like power, singlespeed, color, etc. We can build our rims to hubs made by Chris King, Phil Wood, White Industries, Campagnolo, PowerTap, and others, please contact us for specific details.

Can I get tires from you?
Yes, we offer tires from most all manufacturers including, Vittoria, Tufo, Continental, Michelin, Schwalbe, and more. Please make sure to ask us about new tires for your new wheels.

Can you glue my tubulars?
This is a casee-by-case scenario. At certain times of the year we do provide this service. Make sure to ask when you're purchasing your new wheels. If we can't do it we will recommend a shop in your area or can have them done locally by The Veloshop in Portland and have them shipped.

Can I use Tufo tape to install my tubulars?
No. The use of Tufo tape will void your warranty. It is possible to follow the “Belgian-style” glue job and not void you warranty. However, the “Belgian-style” does not call for Tufo tape and it calls for layers of glue directly to the rim before applying the double-sided tape. Please contact us for information for the proper tape to be used for cyclocross tubular gluing.

Can I use 3M™ Fast Tack Trim Adhesive to install my tubulars on your carbon wheels?
No. Use of 3M™ Fast Tack Trim Adhesive will void your warranty. Fast Tack can delaminate the carbon fiber upon removal.

What do you recommend to install tubulars?
We do not recommend one brand over another, but we have had great success with Vittoria Mastik One and Panaracer Cement.

What is the maximum PSI I can pump my carbon clincher wheels to?
The maximum pressure that you can use is 120 psi. We would recommend slightly less if you are riding on a particularly hot day in which you will be doing a lot of breaking as excessive heating can cause the pressure to increase well over safe levels. Regardless, it is well documented that the optimal pressure for most sized riders is well below 120 psi. For the most part, using a 700x23 the only people that should be riding at 120 psi is a rider of 200 lbs+.

I’ve seen some of your wheels with custom colored decals, how can I get some?
Yes, we do have the ability to do custom decals and we love doing it. We will work with you to come up with the right color or design that you're looking for. We are upfront in that in some instances there are additional costs for doing som which can vary from $30-75. As well, it can take additional time to design and have the decals printed in some instances. We also can't gaurantee that the color will be an exact match as this is a printing process on vinyl that is limited in some cases.

Do you offer individual or team sponsorships?
Yes we do. We are interested in working with many levels of teams and in different regions of the US. If you are interested in sponsorship, please send us a message that includes information about yourself/team. Please include what level of sponsorship you are looking for; monetary, product, discounts, etc.

What brake pad do you recommend for use with your carbon rims?
All carbon rims come stock with the appropriate carbon-specific pads, we will also sell you additional pads at anytime. There are many other brake pad models that will work as well, but they must be carbon specific pads.

Can I buy spare parts from you?
Yes, we offer all of the parts for purchase. This includes, brake pads, valve extenders, rim strips, C3 hub bearing and quick release skewers.

How do I tell if my C3 bearings are worn out?/ How long should the bearings in my hubs last?
This is a difficult question to give a specific answer to, due to the many variables. Climate, maintenance, rider size, type of riding, and riding style, are only some of the variables to consider. A large rider using their hubs in Portland for cross, performing no maintenance will have a much shorter life span for their bearings than someone using their wheels for road rides and racing in Phoenix will. It’s important to remember all equipment requires some basic regular maintenance to perform optimally. If there is a gritty feeling, no movement or lateral movement of more than 2-5 mm it's likely that your bearings are in need of service or in need of replacement. In any case we are happy to inspect them and perform any maintenance if necesssary in some cases under warranty.

I’m experiencing a squeaking noise from the front end of my bicycle, what could be causing this?
This could be due to a lot of different issues, but from our perspective we recommend putting a little grease on the skewer and make sure that you have proper tension when closing the quick release lever. If this does not fix the issue, we recommend trying another front wheel to see if the noise is still there. With either outcome, we recommend that you take your bicycle to a professional to look at it. The shop may find that there is not enough grease or that proper tension is not being used.

I'm hearing a ticking/clicking noice on every wheel revolution, what could be causing this?
This most likely due to the valve stem contacting the rims valve hole. This can be addressed in several ways - electric tape used to "pull" the valve to one side so it can't move OR cut a straw to the length of the valve stem (-15 mm) then slide it over the valve and into the rim.
